By using our website www.annelieruther.com (the “Website”) and purchasing our couture, made-to-measure products, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions (the “Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully before making a purchase or using our services.

1. General Information

Annelie Ruther Ltd specializes in made-to-measure couture garments. Each product is handcrafted and tailored based on the customer’s specific measurements, preferences, and/or design selections.

2. Customization & Measurements

When ordering a made-to-measure garment, you agree to provide accurate body measurements and detailed design preferences. We are not responsible for garments that do not fit due to inaccurate measurements provided by the customer. By submitting your measurements, you agree that the measurements you have provided are accurate.

  • Alterations: Minor alterations may be included in the cost of the garment; however, major changes or adjustments requested after production has begun may incur additional fees. Please view alterations section for further information.

3. Order Process

  • Consultation: Once your order is placed, we will schedule a virtual consultation to discuss the design and details of your garment.
  • Production Process: We may contact you via your preferred method of contact for further details or updates regarding your order to ensure you receive the ideal garment.
  • Production Time: Production times vary depending on the complexity of the design and availability of materials. Estimated delivery times will be provided after design approval, but please note that delays may occur due to factors beyond our control.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices on the Website are listed in British Pounds. Prices for custom garments are subject to change based on design complexity, materials used, and other customizations.

  • Payment: We accept multiple payment methods. All garments are custom-made to your unique measurements and design preferences. As such, we do not offer refunds or exchanges on any made-to-measure or bespoke items 7 days after order is placed.
  • Taxes: We offer complimentary shipping. We are not responsible for any customs fees or import duties that may apply to international orders.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Refund Policy: All garments are custom-made to your unique measurements and design preferences. As such, standard return rights do not apply, and we do not offer refunds or exchanges on any made-to measure or bespoke items 7 days after order is placed.
  • Special Circumstances: You may email us at admin@annelieruther.com and enquire about a refund after the 7 day period is over. We always want to ensure our customers’ happiness and while we cannot guarantee anything we will try our best to come to an agreement whether it be a partial refund, an exchange for a different product, etc.

6. Alterations

We aim to ensure that each garment fits perfectly. As part of our service, if you still need alterations we offer reimbursements for local minor alterations after you receive your garment up to 100 British pounds.

  • Complimentary Alterations: Adjustments to your garment that are
    minor and fall within the original design and measurements are
    included in the price of the garment. These must be requested within 7
    days of receiving the garment. For any alteration reimbursement, there
    must be prior approval of intended changes. After alterations have
    been completed, a receipt must be submitted for reimbursement
    within 7 days of altering the garment.
  • Additional Alterations: Major alterations or changes that deviate from the approved design or measurements may incur additional charges, depending on the complexity of the adjustments required.

7. Defective or Faulty Items

While we strive for perfection in every garment, if your item arrives damaged or does not match the approved design, please contact us immediately.

  • Claims: Claims for defective or faulty items must be submitted with proof within 7 days of receiving the garment. We will assess the issue and, if we determine that the garment is defective, we will offer to repair or remake the item at no additional cost.
  • Repairs: If the defect or issue can be repaired, we will do so free of charge. For items that cannot be repaired, we will offer to remake the garment, however the previous garment must be returned to us.

8. Shipping & Delivery

We offer shipping to select locations worldwide.

  • Delivery Times: Estimated delivery times are provided once your garment is completed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or other factors outside of our control.
  • Customs & Duties: International orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the customer.

9. Privacy Policy

Annelie Ruther Ltd (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. Please visit out privacy policy which explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it when you visit our website www.annelieruther.com (the “Website”).

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including but not limited to designs, images, logos, text, and graphics, is the property of Annelie Ruther Ltd and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of the content for commercial purposes without our express written consent

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Annelie Ruther Ltd will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, arising from or related to:

  • Your use or inability to use the Website;
  • Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data;
  • Statements or conduct of any third party on the Website;
  • The quality, accuracy, or performance of any product or service purchased through the Website;
  • Any delays or failures in performance resulting from acts beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of nature, governmental actions, and failures of third-party providers.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by UK law. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Website or our products is to stop using the Website or, where applicable, to seek repair or replacement of defective products as outlined in our Returns Policy

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in United Kingdom to resolve any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Website.
